2018 was a challenging year

In painting as in life, light is brightest when surrounded by dark.

Much of this year was spent with serious family health issues, so the bright moments stand out. The love of family and friends, the support of my students and collectors. The time at my easel, where the world falls off and I’m in a different dimension, as it were.

The image you see is a new painting of my studio, which I call “Oasis”.

I have much for which to be grateful , and I’m very excited for for the travel and painting adventures that await me in 2019!
